With its stunning, yet practical all-new hatch design modelled directly from the WRC car, powerful turbo performance and legendary constant symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, this performance icon is as breathtaking as it is groundbreaking. Sophisticated, sharper, sportier and much more refined than previous models, the new Impreza WRX STI shares the same rally design DNA as the new Subaru World Rally Car.

Shorter overhangs, a longer wheelbase, wider track, excellent vision, superior weight distribution, a lower centre of gravity, aerodynamic efficiency and incredible safety credentials have all been accommodated in a taut, all new hatch configuration to guarantee impeccable handling with enhanced interior space.

Reductions in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) have also resulted in a quieter, more refined ride that belies this super car's performance.

Climate control air-conditioning; power steering, windows and mirrors, central locking, leather and Alcantara body hugging sports bucket seats and front, front side and curtain airbags enabling the Impreza WRX STI to achieve a 5-star ANCAP rating for occupant safety. Representing the pinnacle of Subaru performance, the Impreza WRX STI combines incredible performance with the positive control and handling of the Subaru symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, developed over 35 years. Under the bonnet, the turbocharged 2.5 litre Subaru Boxer engine generates 221 kW at 6000 rpm and 407 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. It has a direct link to Subaru's amazing success in the FIA World Rally Championship (we've won 6 titles),which doubles as a testing ground for much of the advanced technology that is available in the road-going Impreza WRX STI.
